Imad Eduso is a Lagos based women’s wear brand established in September 2015. It was created by designer Dami Osude who put a twist on the eponymous brand by reversing her name rather than outright using her given name as her brand name. Her brand serves to make women look and feel fierce, sexy, and elegant even in the most mundane of activities, as seen in her most recent campaign shots.



Chechi Arinze is a women’s wear brand created by Chechi Arinze. Her designs mostly range between full skirts and long, flowing dresses. This brand’s designs are for the quintessential woman. A little bit of softness, seen in the soft pinks and tulle, with a strong blend of class and elegance.



Grey Projects is a Nigerian fashion label founded originally for the Nigerian woman by Rukky Ladoja, Obi bi and Tola Ayanwale. They started the label in the hopes of creating wearable and affordable clothing for the woman on the go. They have had successful collaborations with artists and other designers over the years and have very recently branched out into menswear as well. Bold fabrics mixed with simple and elegant designs are the Grey staple.

The founder of MUJI Lagos, Kate Tawo, started the brand after a visit to one of the major craft markets in the city of Lagos. She found inspiration amidst the dedication and passion of the craft makers and channeled that inspiration into creating a brand for custom, good quality handbags made in Nigeria. “MUJI is a leather goods brand that epitomizes precision, craftsmanship and style, proudly made in Nigeria.”

This is a Pretoria based women’s wear brand created by 29 year old fashion designer Orapeleng Modutle. The designer and creator’s love of design stemmed from watching his mother and grandmother hand-stitch as a hobby. He became more known after getting the chance to style South Africa’s biggest TV and radio personality Bonang Matheba. The brand caters to “the opulent woman travelling overseas”. His latest collection features bridal wear and ready to wear outfits.
